Happy birthday to Me~ 

Celebrated my birthday by waking up at 7.30am and heading to the Safety Driving Centre for a 5hr lecture on the safety of driving and the theory behind it. Right. The lecture which was suppose to start at 9, did not start till 10. =.=” and i sat in a classroom for an hour doing positively nothing. Luckily once things did get started, the lecturer was quite interesting and cracked jokes, so i didn’t really fall asleep (also considering the fact that I was sitting in the front row).

For dinner went to sungai buloh with the family for butter crab at this place called the Jungle Hut. Then came home and had me a nice cookies and creme ice cream cake :D.

I’m NINETEEN. but don’t really feel any more older/mature/changed. Heh… birthday i guess are quite overrated.

Meeting clare, maddie and naina tmr for a late bday lunch :D so that will b fun.

I can’t see nicole tho. :( She just came back frm the country of swine flu (australia) and hence i hav to avoid her for at least a week before i can meet up with her. the heart grows fonder with distance, no? :P

In Malaysia Again

So I’m back in Malaysia. Such a freaking hassle to get here.

Thanks to Dana SO MUCH for helping move all my storage stuff to Melissa’s place.

AND thanks to Melissa SO MUCH for letting me store my stuff at her hall for free.

AND thanks to Tian Han SO MUCH for sending me off at the airport and helping me carry my bags there.

STUPID tube had to strike at the worst time possible. I had to make so many trips back and forth.. bus to tube to train to walking. gah fuck RMT. Friday had to move the rest of my stuff to Mel’s place since I was flying the next morning. Never have I passed through one tube station so many times. Tapped in and out of Russell Sq station at least six times >.<”

Anyways, screw that. Its done and over with. I’m finally back here in Malaysia. Jobless, but nonetheless back here. :D Can’t wait to start meeting all the people and eating all the food and learning to drive as well.

Dana arrived in London to be my manual labour. hehe.

Me, Melissa, Loong Jie, Alex and Dana took a trip to Alton Towers. While I was waiting for them at the train station, a police officer approached me and started questioning me ‘cause I had been standing there for about 10-20 minutes already.” he asked me where I was from and what I was doing there and stuff.. and then he asked for some ID, in which he proceeded to write down my name, height and race… I asked him why he needed my details and he replied with a comforting, “dun worry, if you were a terrorist I’d be taking down more of your details. This is just for records to show I talked to you and identified you.” WHAT. do i look like a terrorist MAN! =.=” Haih.

Anywys, Alton. Lemme intro to you the main attraction there. The OBLIVION. :D

They hang you at the top there for 2 seconds before vertically dropping you into a black hole. Hehe. I love it :D IF I had more time, I’d definitely have gone on it again and again. Only me and Alex rode it though, the others were too chicken pok pok. :P

As Dana was here, Me, Melissa and him took a walk to Regents Park where we had a small picnic with Bucks Fizz and Walkers chips. :D

Movie Comic Media Expo

Went to the MCM Expo yesterday. Was really fun. Got to see cosplayers and experience an anime convention. This was the first time I ever went to one. It was a movie/anime/games kinda convention. So other than anime cosplayers you’d see like Street Fighter dress ups, or Blade, or like Star Wars and stuff. The yellow car is the car from Transformers.

Me, Nas and Kavien started off from Northwick Park at 8am and travelled all the way down to Canary Wharf then took a shuttle to ExCel London. We got there and started queueing, thinking it was the queue to buy the tickets (because this queue was longer) LITTLE DID WE KNOW, the queue we were waiting it was actually for the fast track ppl who had already bought their tickets. =.=” We only found out when we were infront of the Expo entrance and everyone already had their tickets, so we had to go ALL THE WAY back and buy the ticks. Haha. We waited outside to chill and wait for the queue to die down and outside you could see all the cosplayers and stuff coming in.

Nas and Kavien were both photographers so they were busy taking photos of the cosplayers and stuff with their cool high tech cams. Hehe. With me and my normal point and shoot, so i don’t have that many pictures of cosplayers. But there were alot of really good costumes. We saw a REALLY GOOD Death Note Shinigami. The picture is with Nas but he was so awesome; tall, gangly and with a really great costume too. :D

There were alot of Sailor Moon and Naruto cosplayers. Maybe cause its so easy to get the jacket but there were alot of Itachi (Sasuke’s brother) cosplayers and there was one really good Kakashi one, with the pervert book and everything. Haha. Okay, I’m beginning to sound a bit too much like a crazy anime person so I shall stop talking about them. But I was really surprised at how much effort people really put into the costumes and how much thought and months of planning must have been involved in that kinda thing.

The shops inside were adorable, there were stuff toys and manga and anime for sale. There were REAL katanas and cosplay costumes for sale too. I ended up really splurging as I bought this cute hat and this Fruit Basket lighter and this gift for a friend. AH. i spent so much money I feel so guilty, but I’m so glad I bought the stuff. I really wanna brag about the gift I bought for the friend but for the sake of keeping it a secret, I’ll maybe say what I bought for him later :P.

  Onigiri Fruit Basket lighter. AWWW~ :D There is not kerosene in it, so I’ll need to fill it, but other than that… SO CUTEEE~

Hehe we went back about 5:30 and ended an exhausted day. I got home and after telling Tian all about my day, collapsed in bed and fell asleep :D

Chen Tze’s Bday “surprise”

Went to have dinner with CT on friday. Was suppose to be a surprise dinner but when all of us were about to go up to his apartment, he came out of his lift =.=””

Does he look surprised to anyone? Haha poor Ashwin and Joyce who put so much effort into it and then in the end, the birthday boy had to ruin everything and actually step out of the lift when we were about to leave. What are the chances, srsly?

We went to eat Tapas at a nearby restaurant. There were 17 ppl there. Huge long table for all of us to share. Ordering for everything seemed too complicated so we just ended up splitting the table so 4 to 5 ppl shared a certain number of dishes. Me, Melissa, Dion, Bonnie and later Victor had steamed mussells, sea bass, bread, salmon, and… I cant remember. We ordered meat balls as well, but me and Melissa had to leave early, so didn’t get to try those. OF the food we tried tho, they were really good and quite affordable as well.

Me and Melissa left early to catch a movie at the Waterloo IMAX. We went to watch NIght at the Museum 2, and we thought (cuz it was being shown at IMAX) that the movie would be 3D; it wasn’t. BUT we got to watch it on a huge ass screen which was damn nice, so it wasn’t a complete waste. Night of the Museum 2 was quite funny as well, more of a plot that the first one. Overall I quite enjoyed it. Went to watch it with Tian, Chris, Melissa and I.

After the movie, Melissa went to join CT again for more fun and apparently they had started drinking. I went with Chris and Tian to Chinatown, had KFC and then Chris went off to fish and I went to join CT for some drinking as well.

There wasn’t alot of drinking. Haha. We played Taboo, movie charades then Ring of Fire. But no one really got insanely out of control drunk, the bday boy himself only got really tipsy and crazy. Around 5, 6am we stopped as Joyce and Sue Ping had to lug CT back to his apartment. These are the people that made it all the way to 6am with us.

Arrived back in Harrow at 8am and managed to get a few hours of sleep before remember that I had to go see the Storage place for where I’m keeping my stuff for the summer.

Is Homeless- NOT!

I finally have a place to stay next year.

You are an ANGEL, Nas. Srsly :D Nas’s cousin has kindly allowed us to rent a 2bdroom flat next year for just the same amount as I’m paying here, just without the bills. AND the place is practically perfect. Okay, so I haven’t seen it yet.. but Nas said there is a supermarket, laundromat, post office, bank and even tube station rEALLY nearby. AND the rooms are bigger than the ones I’m staying in now.. AND we get our own lounge. WHEE~ I’m so glad I’m going to be out of these halls next year… AND i’ll be with someone that I am totally comfortable with. ^^ I’m tres excited. :D

I was so worried that i’d hav no where to stay next year and those stupid ppl i emailed about seeing hses nvr replied me either, so its so awesome that i dont hav to go thru the hassle of looking for a place by myself and probably almost getting killed/raped in the process. also, halls only reply if u hav a place like in August which is quite useless if u ask me. cuz it practically gives you NO time to look for somewhere else to stay.

AHH.. you have no idea how much i love Nas rite now :D AND her parents might put her cat with us which will be UBER double awesome. hehe.

Gonna view the place probably sometime next week. Cross fingers, hope everything works out well.
