Overload on Pasta

Felt so sick yesterday. Had wayyy too much pasta in me. When I got home from dinner, I tried to sleep it off but I couldn’t. My stomach was going to explode. Took some medicine and ended up throwing it all up. I wonder if this is how an anorexic feels when they induce puking. Wanna see a pic? LoL. Kidding :) I was disgusted just seeing it myself >.<”

I started the day by waking up and eating a whole bag of Chilli Heatwave Doritos, then I had two bags of Tesco Instant Couscous. That’s proportionate portion to a four people sharing meal. By the time I finished that it was about 3ish. Then at 7pm, went to dinner at Zizzi because they had a £1 deal. I had this linguini with tomato sauce and prawn. Then a tiramisu for dessert. OMG. I swear, when I got home. I just felt horrible. Already, as we were walking to the restaurant, I was still burping couscous =.=" Sighh. Never doing that again.

I still partly feel like i want to die… but I need to be in uni in about an hour because we have a magazine group meeting.

For the past few days I haven’t been able to sleep past 8am, no matter how late I sleep the night before. It was so annoying, especially since my friend was over for the weekend. I’d wake up early, but as not to disturb, I’d just have to lay there and resist temptation and not wake them. Today however, I managed to sleep till 8:30am. Woohoo? Well, step by step. :)

Dinner Tray Sledding

I’m finally done with my two HUGE essays :) Ahh… can finally breathe for awhile now.

The weekend before, Lissa got back from Malaysia and we thought to go and enjoy the snow. We went with some of her friends to Primrose Hill on Saturday and used plastic bags to slide on the ice XD

On Sunday though, we convinced the Angel gang to come down with us and she went and stole some of her hall dinner trays for us to use to slide on. At first we covered them in plastic bags to slide down, but later we discovered its much faster if we just use the dinner trays.

Alex did some pretty daring stuff and we ended being the hill’s spectacle. Pity on Sunday the main ice hill had melted and became a huge mud slide. During the end me and melissa tried it, but its was too fast and I ended up losing the tray underneath me. XD And when I tried to stand, I couldn’t and I kept SLIPPING. >.<” Luckily I had Alex come to the rescue to save me. Hahaa. I was covered in mud on one side of my leg. It was too cold and I completely forgot to take a picture of it. But later when I was wiping it off with a cloth, I got her to take a picture of it for me. When she sends it to me, I’ll upload it :)

My next thing due soon is a critical evaluation due next Thursday. Sigh.. Guess I don’t really have that much time to relax. Heh. But I’ll do my best to have fun while I’m still free ^^

I’m in the mood for sushi. Hmmmmmm… Was suppose to go today for dinner but I hadn’t slept in over 24 hours and at 5pm i slept till midnite. Hence why I’m still awake at 5am now. Haha. My inner clock is really gone.

Well… should I try to sleep or should I Dragonica? ^^

I downloaded PhotoScape a few days ago. Been playing around with it. I’d just like to make a shoutout to my best friend. She dedicated a post to me on her blog and I’d just like to return the favour. :)

Procrastinating Again (as usual)

I have written ZERO words for both essays. Yay~ sigh.

I’m home alone enjoying the silence of everything and there is someone online who keeps wanting to come over and destroy my peace. I think I need to find someone to tell him firmly “no.” =.=”

Its so cold in my house. I’m saving money by not turning on the gas. But my hands are so cold that my fingers feel swollen and its like they’re slowly freezing as its becoming a greater effort to move them as I type.

So how was everyone’s new year? I celebrated it with Ji Hoong and her friends at the London Eye. :D

I need a hair cut. My hair is too long. Went shopping with Ji the other day. Tried on a jumpsuit. Haha. I’ve always wanted to try one on. They really don’t suit me :P From River Island.

Doesn’t look good, rite? Lol. Maybe one day I’ll find a jumpsuit that’ll suit me. :P I saw a really nice one in Esprit, but even after discount, it was unaffordable. >.<” Oh wouldn’t it be nice to have all the money in the world.

Gah. I’m hungry… need to scavenge for food and then start my work. Oh, woe the student life.

A New Decade

So it’ll be officially 2010 tomorrow. Wow. Time really goes by too fast. I should think back on what I’ve done this year… but truthfully, I’m too lazy ^^

Boxing Day was awesome. I got a new jacket and a top from Zara. A top and a dress from Ted Baker. A hat from Accessorize. and Boots from Clarks. :D All for less than £90!! hehe.

Also, cuz my friend from New Jersey has been down in London and I’ve been showing him around, I’m semi-taken the role of tourist as well. We went to visit Windsor Castle as well as the Tower of London.

For Christmas Eve, he cooked for us and we had a mini house party at our place. Because he has forbidden me to put up any pictures of him, I cannot post the dinner pictures online. haha. But it was awesome having so many people over at our place at once :D His cooking was tres good too!!

I’ve no plans for NYE but who noes what will happen. Nas is going back to Brighton. So I think Ji will be coming over. Mayb i’ll drag her into central with me to watch the fireworks. IF i want to deal with that huge ass crowd. Its too expensive to club on NYE, so I'll pass on that. Most ppl I know plan to go out and get drunk tho… so hmmm… will I be missing out if I don’t do the same?

Its stopped snowing here already. It mainly just rains now. Whee >.<”

Anyways… yea. My new year resolution is to stop getting into shit. :D hehe. Hopefully I can accomplish that.

Happy 2010 Everyone!!

Stuck Here

So I decided last minute to just go back to Malaysia. But now I can’t. :(

I decided Tuesday night to go back and called KLM in the morning to change my return date for my year return ticket to the coming Monday BUT they said they could try and book but would be unable to confirm the seat until after three working days… Well, that would mean I’d have to call them on Monday? So the guy told me to call Friday evening and hopefully I’ll be able to know by then.

So I called them this afternoon during the end of my class when everyone was finishing up the final copy of our group newspaper. I wasn’t given anything to do and whenever I asked for work, I was just shoo-ed aside. So, fuck them, I’ll do my own business then.

The only available seat was a business class seat and because of my ticket, I wouldn’t be able to switch to that business class seat. I’d have to pay the whole fee for the ticket. So screw that. They said the next most available date is Jan 10th. wtf =.=” I need to go into uni on the 11th and I have 2 HUGE reports due on the 14th. SO I really don’t have time to go back to Msia in that case :(

On a bright side, last Sunday was the Geminids Meteor Shower. Me and my flatmate went out around 1am-ish with a hot cup of mocha, dragged our chairs out and her camera and watched the stars.

I saw SOOO many meteors. Each one takes my breath away I keep forgetting to make a wish as soon as I see one :P It was also my first time I’ve ever seen a meteor shower. Nas (my flatmate) managed to catch one on her camera but she hasn’t touched up or developed that photo yet, so I can’t upload it. But its seriously the most gorgeous thing you’d ever see.

Holidays have started today :D YAYYYYYY!! I’m prepared for sleeping in and pigging out.

Hwai Jeh and Kat are also in London (I think), so I shall try and meet up with them before I start even looking at any of my work. Sucks tho, that basically NO TRANSPORT is working on Christmas day. Guess I’m gonna be stuck in Zone 4. meh…

Oh, and if you don’t know, its snowed in London these past 3 days. :)

Dunno what the plan is for tomorrow… Nas wants me to model for her for her Dreams photo project. So maybe that will be fun. If Hwai Jeh is in London, I hope he finds some way to contact him… I didn’t go online yesterday so I don’t know if he’s here or not and I didn’t manage to give him any of my contact details… Gah. If he’s here, he should have arrived 9am today. Hmmmmm…. Well, what to do.

On a side note, I’ve been really addicted to this MMORPG called Dragonica. Hehe. Once you start, the hours just fly by you. I want to play now, but my internet provider is down and I’m stealing my neighbour’s signal… bleh.

Decisions, Decisions

I’ve been quite sick the past few days with migraines, fevers, sore throats and now coming the runny nose. Every symptom of any common flu >.<”

I called my parents today to see if I could go to the WorldMUN conference in Taiwan. They said it was too expensive, so I can’t go :(

Basically through the phone call, they could hear that I was sick. Now they think I should come back to Malaysia for Christmas and New Years. I don’t know if I should or if I even want to…

For one thing, I do miss my family and it’d be really nice to spend such holidays with them. And I won’t even get to celebrate CNY with them… On a negative note, as soon as I go back, ALL freedom is stripped from me.

Most of my friends are back in Malaysia this holiday as well. But he is staying here. He’s only going back for Chinese New Years. So I’m partly hoping that we can do something together for these events. But then… those chances are probably quite low. Also, I’ve seen most of my friends over summer break and they was only a few months ago…

I’ve never had a Christmas or New Years here yet. I went back last winter so I dunno… Out of a culture experience, I’d like to celebrate it here.

Studies wise… I’ve got four news pieces to write, two HUGE essays as well as helping Nas with her photo project.

I was also suppose to go to Nottingham from the 7th – 11th Jan but now that I need to come in to uni on the 8th to check the magazine’s digital proof, that idea is kinda thrown out the window. >.<”
