House Party at Wui Seng's

On Friday me and melissa met up and went shopping at H&M at Oxford Circus. Right after we finished shopping we went outside and as i was puttin on my jacket, this dude (not british) came up to us and was like "hey ladies, i like your style." wtf.. O.o We quickly walked away haha.

After that, we went to a house party over at edgeware road. it was rlly fun! tons and tons of people there. i got to meet alot of new ppl too!!

tho the ending was a bit.. ngeh.. i think the fun from the rest of the day overshadowed that part. :D there was shisha, mahjong, poker, wii and some pot all throughout the apartment. after my experience on gettin pissed drunk, everytime i smell shisha i get a bit of nausea.. so i avoided that room. instead i played the wii with melissa and some new ppl that i met, COOKING MAMA n Wii Sports! haha its sooo hard >.<"" my arm was so sore. not tht i got to sleep much anyways. so anyways, instead of blabbing away.. here are some pics :D

The next day, clare came down from Essex and we went to chinatown for shopping. I've stocked up on instant noodles.. so i won't have to starve.. especially since i'm out of microwave foods and its pouring outside so i cant go out and buy anything >.<" i forgot to get ice cream tho. ok, drifted from topic. haha me and clare went chinatown to shop around. She too stocked up on instant noodles. after that we went to visit melissa at her halls. we hung out at the hall's bar where i discovered my new fav drink; ARCHERS! haha. with coke its rlly nice too. cuz its sooo sweet. yum :D there are pics. but they're all on clare's camera. ok.. im getting a bit hungry. i shall leave you with a picture of what we (me, chen tze, ashwin, joyce, sue ping and melissa) cooked last last week on our cooking day.

this is the first time ive ever gotten so drunk... EVER. apparently there are videos too (which i dont have) gawd. i m never drinkin tht much again. i dont even rmbr pouring the 3rd glass of JD.
anyways, this all happened saturday nite when i went over to LJ's place with some friends to just chill out since we didnt hav enuf cash to go clubbing. 5 guys and 3 girls. rlly fun. wel.. the part tht i rmbr was rlly fun. haha

anyways, im missing out on Ministry of Sound London tmr because ive got an early lecture+seminar in the morning and if i go i will definitely KO during class. so.. im not going :(

i also am suppose to b doin research on UK's poverty because World Poverty Day is coming soon, so we're suppose to write a news feature on it. well... as procrastinator, i haven't started. woo~ big surprise.

some of my lectures are quite fun. for our first lecture for Story, Sound, Image, Text (SSIT for short) we watched an episode of The Wire. Its basically to analyze why they make this show this way and how it attracts viewers and stuff. And then for the second lecture, we watched an episode of Friends to analyze TV Series's technique. how AWESOME is that. haha.

Then, for our first lecture in Media and Society, where we learn about influences and effects of Media, we played with LEGO! haha. The guy who thought of the whole idea is our lecturer. The dude with the glasses? Yea, he's David. My Media and Society lecturer. Coincidentally, one of my SSIT lecturers name is also David. But he's a different David. haha.

oh and for those who don't know. Me and Ashwin broke up on the 28th. I guess sometimes even the most beautiful things can fall apart.

I get around by tube and bus mainly.. otherwise its walking.
London is ok.. i'm stil making friends.. hope everything goes well..

today was my first day of lecture classes. the subject is quite fun. it was mainly all intro today.. we hav a newroom.. i dun hav a pic of that . but its gorgeous. filled with newly installed mac comps. :D

there is a gathering of chinese students happening next thursday.. .should i go...? i dunooo...

Last Days in ExxonMobil

My last days at ExxonMobil...

I dunno what i feel. Its been about 2 months there. I became friends with so many people there and then suddenly I have to leave, fly off to UK. As a leaving gift, I got some trinkets to remember them by. One being a Zara jacket which is REALLLLYYY nice.

Another would be a scrapbook that Amily, Jen and Su Yen put together. Its really nice. They got each of the people that I work closely with to write a message in it for me. Its so sweet. I was so touched. They put this together in 4 days... and i didnt even suspect anything.

Working here was fun. Maybe sometimes it can be stressful, but most of the time it was quite fun. The people here were all so friendly and nice. They really make it easy to bond with you. I guess I wouldn't really mind coming back to work here.

The last week here, everyday we'd go down to our 6F recreation floor where they recently put in a new pool table and a foos table. I taught them how to foos, tho i myself suck at it :p

after work on my last day, we stayed back late where they presented me the scrapbook. then we went downstairs to the smokin area outside the office and just lepaked around with Lum. once he left, we went upstair to 6F to pool and foos. then dinner at Sakae Sushi. just cant put it into words, but i had alot of fun. im gonna miss working. hopefully uni will be just as fun :D
